The documentary was produced by Rafael Marmor, Jessica Elbaum for Gloria Sanchez, and directed by Josh Greenbaum, and Christopher Leggett. serving as executive producers for Steve Sarowitz, Justin Baldoni, Jamey Heath, and Andrew Calof at Wayfarer Studios. Will Farrel and Harper Steele both are playing lead role. Stars Harper Steele and Will Ferrell, about thirty years ago, when Harper Steele was hired as a writer for Saturday Night Live, Will Ferrell became a cast member. The two became close, with Steele contributing numerous of Ferrell’s most well-known illustrations and characters. The cinematography was done by Zoë White, while Nathan Halpern composed the soundtrack.

A well-known comedian best known for his many humorous films and stint on Saturday Night Live, Will Ferrell plays the lead in this documentary. It features a cross-country road trip of 16 days  with Harper Steele, who recently came out as transgender.

The summary says, “When Will Ferrell’s good friend Harper comes out as a trans woman, they take a road trip to bond and reintroduce Harper to the country as her true self.” Sounds intriguing, don’t they?
